Each boiler support structure is a new development because of the absolute priority of the steam generator function with its very complex interactions. The constant further development of the power station even during the construction phase requires for boiler support structures and houses constructions of a material that is economically adaptable to changing conditions of use. Here steel construction is superior to all other materials due to its optimal joining methods such as bolting and welding. With manufacturing facilities for the fabrication of structural elements like e.g. boiler support structure columns and beams with individual weights of up to 130 tonnes, ZHSS is excellently experienced and equipped to carry out such tasks. The necessary engineering, design, manufacturing and assembly/erection capacity is likewise on hand.
