Large Span Skylighting Translucent Mega Atrium Roof Steel Structure

The atrium space was to be column-free, so the atrium roof structure would be supported on its perimeter. It was preferred not to have any roof structural systems with a bottom horizontal plane, since this would tend to reduce the soaring volume of the space.
