One of the largest network of public charter schools in the country expanded its footprint with a new School. Part of the new 6-story school design includes a rooftop turf field with a new tensile membrane roof system by ZHM Huawu Steel providing protection for kids to play various sports and gym classes. 

The roof features a combination of 370 sq.m. of solid PTFE-coated fiberglass membrane on one half and approximately 740 sq.m. of stainless steel mesh system on the other half. ZHM Huawu Steel's scope of work for the project included design, engineering, fabrication and installation of the Supporting structural steel framing, PTFE tensile fabric membrane, the stainless steel mesh, and clamping and hardware. 

Completed at the end of 2023, the school experience offers students numerous advanced placement classes, robotics, theater, visual arts, graphic design, and athletics.
