After the great success of our first state-of-the-art wind tunnel project, ZHM Huawu Steel were commissioned again by our old client with, a high-performance engineering business, to help create this second impressive adaptable cycling Wind Tunnel facility, which will be used for research and development of a range of sports. With fan measuring 2.5 meters in diameter, and speeds of approximately 60mph, the wind tunnel will enable analysis of sports including cycling, running, skiing and even ski-jumping.
ZHM Huawu Steel were responsible for the supply, fabrication, delivery and successful installation of all the structural and architectural steelwork for the project. ZHM Huawu Steel Projects also executed the internal fit out for the office and wind tunnel facility for this turnkey project.
The wind tunnel itself was fabricated in our steel workshop in 12 weeks before being dismantled and delivered to site to be installed along with a prep room and control room to form part of the overall facility.
