Reunion Pedestrian Foot Steel Bridges and Stairs Design Production Fabrication and Construction France
The design and construction of steel pedestrian foot bridges differs depending on where they are to be situated and how large they have to be. A simple beam bridge is are usually used for short spans and a truss bridge is usually required for longer spans.

However steel pedestrian foot bridges that have a short span but are covered, benefit from construction with trusses.
Other design features to consider for steel pedestrian foot bridges are whether they have their walls closed, either for climatic protection or to protect the road or rail below from possible debris, how access to the pedestrian bridges is gained for example by stairs, or ramps suitable for wheelchair, or both. Lifts may also be needed for further disabled access.
Also to be considered before a steel pedestrian foot bridge is constructed is the site conditions as some can be situated in awkward places and we would need to know of any difficulties that maybe encountered.
All dimensions for steel pedestrian bridge and staircase construction are possible but longer clear spans can become more expensive. We normally recommend hot dipped galvanising of the steelwork and nothing else.
This new project of Reunion Pedestrian Foot Steel Bridges and stairs Design, Production, Fabrication and Construction consists of three different types of Pedestrian Foot Steel Bridges, including the following charistiristics:
(1)all of different lengths, heights to covor over accross the small roads of the Reunion islands France.
(2)Each pieces of steel members are specially designed and limited to 100kg/piece so no mobile cranes are needed for the construction, which will achieve the lowest economic construction cost on the ecologicial friendly basis.
(3) All the profiles of steelworks, including the HEA/HEB/UPN Channel/SHS Tubes/RHS Tubes/EA/Plates/Bars, S355JR and S235JR, were designed and fabricated as per latest versions of EN/BS standards and approved by French consultants.
(4) All steelworks hot-dipped zinc galvanization in accordance with BS/EN 1461.
(4) The production period covers the normal Chinese lunar new year which became a big challenge for us.
However, we have conquered all these chllenges and make the smooth production and delivery on time for our 15-year long old French client.
