ZHM Huawu Steel was tendered and contracted to engineer, fabricate, furnish and install an intricate curved membrane roof along the south side of the County History Centre Museum. 

Half of the membrane roof covers an outdoor seating area for guests and the other half encloses the main reception hall area and walkway. 

The roof consists of 23 ETFE air filled pillows that attach to a glulam structure which was also developed by ZHM Huawu Steel. 

The intricate curves and tight radii of the frame structure was resolved by the patterning and fabrication skills of ZHM Huawu Steel’s membrane production facility. 

The County History Centre Museum has since won many architecture awards.
