Glass and Steel Atrium
ZHM engineered, fabricated, and installed two glass and steel atrium walls at Gateway. The walls span approximately 1,226sqm in total size, measuring 24.7m tall by 23.5m wide and 23m tall by 19m wide.
The glazing utilizes ZHM’s Point Supported Glass System which is supported by horizontal steel bow trusses. ZHM’s Tension Rod System is also included to provide vertical structural support with vertical steel fins. The atrium walls provide a transparent and visible entryway which serves to connect the two buildings.
